Training

As well as taking photographs for you, I am happy to offer training at any level. Some examples might include:

• Staff - Short refresher courses can often be useful for your staff before embarking on a major project. It can also be useful to catch-up with the latest technological developments.

• Volunteers - Many museums and heritage organisations are fortunate in having many volunteers. However finding the time to train your volunteers properly can often be difficult in a crowded work schedule. I can offer either on-site or off-site training to your requirements.

• Students - ideal for those studying Museum Studies, Conservation & Restoration or Heritage Management. If you are at present studying on one of these courses, or similar, you will appreciate the value of posessing additional skills when it comes to applying for jobs. I can offer one-to-one or small group tuition to suit you.

• Freelancers - Including a poor picture in an otherwise professionally produced report can spoil the whole appearance. Don't let it be so! You are capable of delivering high quality results using your own equipment with just a few helpful pointers.
  
  
  

  Training can follow a generic format (ask me for more details), or I can create a bespoke package for you. Courses can focus on the hardware aspect of photography (using the camera, setting up correct lighting), or we can concentrate on post-production processing, using a wide variety of software packages such as Adobe Photohsop®.
